How to Enroll in a Ventura College Online Course

1. View the list of courses and decide what courses you want to take.

2. Make sure that distance education is for you. Distance Education requires good time management, familiarity with Internet technology and a willingness to ask questions and communicate online.

3. Registration:

  • NEW STUDENTS: Go to the college online orientation then see College Advising and Counseling Center. (Ventura College Adminsitration Building)
  • RETURNING STUDENTS: If you already have an advisor, see them. If not, go to the Advising and Counseling Center as noted above.

4. Online courses begin and end on the same days as on-campus courses.

5. You may be required to have a username and password to access your course material. Your instructor will provide you with your username and password. See course schedule for orientation information.
