AWARDS ARE NOT AUTOMATICALLY ADJUSTED. If your enrollment is not as indicated above, you must submit a change of enrollment. 1st disbursements will only be issued if you are enrolled in the correct number of units. Increases and decreases of awards due to a change in enrollment may be revised up until the last day to add a full-semester class (see schedule of classes for exact dates).

CONCURRENT ENROLLMENT WITHIN THE VENTURA COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT - All units enrolled at Ventura, Oxnard, and Moorpark colleges will count toward your total enrollment. However, you must receive your aid where you are taking the majority of your units. If you enroll in more units at Oxnard or Moorpark Colleges, Ventura College will be unable to authorize disbursement. Please review your schedule for confirmation that the majority of your units are at Ventura College.

If your award includes a BOGW (for California residents only), please note this is not a cash award. Your BOGW is automatically uploaded by our office to cover your enrollment and health* fees. *There is current legislation which will exclude the health fee from being waived. If this bill passes, you will be responsible to pay your health fee each term.

A STUDENT MAY NOT RECEIVE AID AT MORE THAN ONE SCHOOL FOR THE SAME SEMESTER. If you are offered aid at another school for the same semester, contact our office immediately. Grant checks are produced by our district office and the disbursement date is an approximate mailing date. Also, checks will not be mailed if you owe $25 or more to the school. Instead, those checks can be picked up at the Student Business Office on the next business day. A valid ID (Driver's License, State ID, or Military ID) will be required. ASB and library cards are NOT acceptable forms of identification.
